“A” grade:

Everyone in the group understands all the machine's
steps well.

Every member is involved during all of the group
work and during presentations.

supportive of each other.

The group members are supportive of and positive
towards other groups.

During presentations, the group pays attention to
other groups' explanations.
- On the day of the multi-group demonstration of the machine, your
group assists others in making the machines run well
together.
“B” grade:

All of the group members understand most of the
machine's steps and have
a good overall sense of the machine.

Every member is involved in most of the group work.

Every member is involved in the presentation.

The group members work well together and are
supportive of each other.

The group members are supportive of and positive
towards other groups.

During presentations, the group pays attention to
other groups' explanations.
- Your group is flexible and accommodating when
linking up machines during the multi-group demonstration of the machine.
“C” grade:
-
One or more members of the group does not understand
how the machine works
or cannot explain most of the steps.

One or more of the group members frequently does not
participate during
group work or the presentation.

The group members occasional argue or fail to
support one another.
-
The group members do not support other groups or pay
attention to their
presentations.
- Members of other groups become frustrated by your
carelessness, inattentiveness, or other deleterious
behavior during the multi-group runs at the multi-group demonstration of the machine.
“D” grade:

One person does most of the work on the machine and
the others are not
very involved.

The group members often argue amongst themselves or
with members of the
other groups.
- One or more members of your group is vulgar,
disrespectful, or otherwise unfriendly to other
groups or visitors during the multi-group demonstration of the machine.
“F” grade:

The group is not able to decide on a design for the
machine.

A member of the group insults another student or
another student's work
or ideas.
- One or more members of your group take deliberate
steps to sabotage or otherwise thwart the
performance of another machine at the multi-group demonstration of the machine.
